Collettivo_21 is a contemporary music ensemble founded in Piacenza (Italy) in 2015.

Collettivo_21 has performed world premieres of works by Frederic Rzewski, Maurizio Azzan, Claudio Panariello, Alessandro Perini, Luca Guidarini, Giorgio Colombo Taccani, Luca Ricci, Alessandro Bono, Matteo Tundo, Arshia Samsaminia, Sara Stevanovic as well as Italian premieres of Alexander Schubert, D iana Soh, Jean-Claude Risset, Marco Momi, Franck Bedrossian and others. The ensemble has been invited to perform at festivals and events such as: Music Biennale Zagreb, Crossroads Festival Salzburg (now Limina Festival), Sound Spaces Festival in Malmö, Cantiere Internazionale d’Arte di Montepulciano, “Omaggio a Marino Zuccheri” organized by the NoMus association in the hall of the Museo del Novecento in Milan; the contemporary opera “Notte per me luminosa” by Marco Betta, under the direction of Massimiliano Caldi, at the Teatro Municipale in Piacenza; the PactaSoundZone season organized by the composer and guitarist Maurizio Pisati in Milan, in collaboration with the CRISIS ensemble; the Primavera di Baggio; the Gioventù Musicale d’Italia Modena; the launch of the “4est project”, in collaboration with Alessandro Baldessari and financed by Volvo Car Italia and Volvo Studio Milano.

Collettivo_21 collaborated with the DALM (Dialogical Approaches to Living Music) research group of the Department of Musicology and Cultural Heritage of the University of Pavia, coordinated by Prof. Ingrid Pustijanac, participating in meetings with composers Marco Momi and Franck Bedrossian, and presenting two concerts for the Musica del XXI secolo season (2022 and 2023).

Collettivo_21 was the organizing ensemble of the Incó_ntemporanea festival in Piacenza in the years 2017-2020, hosting composers and musicians such as Frederic Rzewski, Alessandro Perini, Claudio Panariello, Duo Dubois, Giovanni Sollima, Silvia Cignoli and others. Since 2023, it has been the organizer of the Foresty International Music Festival.

Collettivo_21 is the stable ensemble of the Foresty International Music Festival, where it participates in concerts and collaborates with performers and composers such as Francesco Filidei and Mauro Lanza, the teachers of Contemporary Percussion Gathering (Stanislas Pili, Lorenzo Colombo, Alessandro Perini and Brian Archinal), New Music for Piano (Salvatore Sciarrino, Marco Momi and Mariangela Vacatello) and Parallel Pieces (Camilla Hoitenga).
